1964 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII | Restored ’14-’18 with 2,000 Miles Since, Rawles Paint!

DETAILS

Restored between 2014 and 2018 this Austin Healey 3000 is a stunning example of the handsome and refined late MkIII Phase II model. Just a little over 2,000 miles have been covered since restoration, which was comprehensive and the car remains near flawless throughout. Finished in its original colour of Healey Blue Metallic with Ivory duotone, Navy interior and Navy wet weather gear this is a original and delightful car built June 1964.

Restored by the owner (a smaller restorer) with Rawles Motorsport paint and much further assistance from us in the build and fitted with a Rawles Motorsport rebuilt gearbox. This is a very original car, true to form with just a few further refinements from us including LED headlights and a Revotec electric just for some added reliability and usability. Wheels are stronger 72 spoke wires, now fitted in the very excellent Michelin XAS tyres (known to match the shape of the originals tyres best whilst providing modern handling).

Inside the interior is in impeccable condition, the Navy leather still supple and the Walnut dash unmarked making this Healey a very nice place to be. Wet weather gear is all bespoke trimmed in mohair – Navy with Black cabin lining also including a tonneau.

Sold with British Motor Heritage Certificate, MOT, large history file, spare wheel, jack, hammer, hood bag, tonneau and more.
