1965 | Austin Healey 3000 MkIII BJ8 Phase Two, Healey Blue Metallic

Built on 6-17 May 1965 this MkIII Healey is a three-owner car from new, the second purchasing the car in 1968 and owning the car until late 2018 whereby it was purchased by the current owner who commission restoration with ourselves.

Complete new inner structure with jig built internally strengthened chassis and front and rear bulkheads strengthened at identified weak points, English-wheeled bulkhead air channelling for Webers, original numbered panels restored, new steel wings, protective rear wheel arch liners.

Adjustable camber, revised caster angles, Rawles Motorsport 4-Piston front brakes, telescopic Bilstein Dampers, CNC upgraded steering box, Borrani lightweight alloy wire wheels with Michelin tyres.

Original block chemically cleaned, crack and pressure tested then machined. Forged pistons, fully balanced internals, lightened and balanced flywheel, performance gas flowed original head, performance camshaft, harmonic crankshaft dampener, mappable ignition timing, alloy high flow manifold, triple Webbers, cable throttle conversion, 6 branch exhaust manifold, large bore straight through exhaust, aluminium back plate, upgraded oil seals, lead free conversion, dynamo look alternator, large core radiator, plastic fan, high torque starter, aluminium sump, porosity kit and spin oil oil filter. Rocker cover clear coated.

5-Speed Gearbox, Limited Slip Differential, Competition Half-Shafts, 3.5 Rear Axle Ratio for Cruising.
