SOLD | Austin Healey 3000 MkIIA Restoration Project
DETAILS
1963 Austin Healey 3000 MkIIA BJ7 finished in Colorado Red with Black interior, in complete and suitable condition for full restoration. These later MkII models are well loved in the Healey community for featuring all the late car main benefits of wind up windows and the superior ‘pram-style’ hood all whilst retaining the more minimalistic cockpit of earlier cars.
The all-important windscreen chrome is complete and all the glass on the car appears to be Austin Healey originals with ‘Triplex’ branding. Very usefully the shrouds appear to be in good condition with the original grille fitting nicely.
Many of the panels on the car appear to be the originals the car left the factory with. At some point someone chose to fit a later BJ8 dashboard to the car, but the correct BJ7 one could very easily be re-instated during restoration. Luckily, all the original gauges were not changed at this time and remain in the car.
This car is available either for purchase as is or fully restored by Rawles Motorsport Ltd.
