Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 | 30k from New & Unrestored
DETAILS
First registered by Carey & Lambert Ltd of Southampton, this 3000 MKIII was first registered on May 2nd 1966. The car remained in one family ownership from 10th April 1967 until it was sold to the present owner in 2018 and is provided with the original bill of sale, buff logbook and covering letter to the new owner from the selling dealership.
Remarkably this car has covered just 30,000 miles from new and is presented in excellent unrestored condition, in its original colours due to caring use, good regular maintenance and some small light refurbishment.
The interior is a true time warp and is totally original, even with the rare BJ8 only ‘chrome piping’ presented un-yellowed by the sun. The carpet is original, very good and rarely seen in such presentable untouched condition. Rear seatbelts have been fitted as an addition.
This car is well known to us for some time, and is provided serviced and MOT’d with original log book, original dealer keyring, bill of sale, dealership covering letter, heritage certificate of authenticity and more. Just fitted with new servo, radiator, fully serviced and more. Numberplate on retention, new age-related period plate now assigned.
