Rawles Motorsport has spent nearly 40 years developing four and six cylinder Austin Healey engines for road use and offers a range of performance levels to suit your needs whether it be original or a more powerful modern specification with great refinement. In consultation with you we can discuss your requirements and use case to provide the perfect rebuild.
All of our engines are fully warrantied, built and tested with the option of rolling road break-in and tuning.
We also build race engines with pole position performance and supply engines on an outright or exchange basis.

The 6 cylinder Healey engine is incredibly robust providing great scope for tuning.
We offer a range of options to increase power by +35, +65, +85, +100 and +130BHP. Full concours, original specification rebuilds are also available plus race trim engines.

The 4 cylinder Austin engine provided in the Healey 100 and 100M has fantastic potential to become supremely torquey and provide great horsepower owing to its robust long stroke design.
On 4 cylinder engines we can boost performance by +40, +60 and +90bhp and provide popular period options such as the coveted ‘100M’ specification.

Gearbox and Drivetrain Upgrades
For those wishing to modernise the Healey driving experience and make the car both faster and more enjoyable to drive we can fit our 5-speed gearbox. This is fully synchromeshed, makes for a much easier change and has the added benefit of greater power delivery to the wheels and less cockpit heat. We also offer differential changes to adjust gearing for lower rpm cruising and limited slip differentials to increase traction.
