SOLD | Austin Healey 3000 MK1 (BN7) | Perfect, Newly Restored Collector Two-Seater Car
DETAILS
Rare and coveted BN7 two-seater, recently restored and finished in Black with Red contrasting interior. The MKI two-seat cars were notably produced for race and rally homologation with this model winning the Liege-Rome-Liege Rally of 1959, the 1961 Coupes Des Alpes Rally (as driven by Stirling Moss) and entering Le Mans in 1960.
This particular example, built November 1960, now owned by a major Healey collector was fully restored to its original specification and colours less than 200 miles ago. Pleasingly, the car is highly original with every single exterior panel original making for a high level of body fit unachievable with reproduction panels. The engine and drive-train is fully rebuilt and broken-in successfully.
This example represents a rare opportunity to acquire a perfect, turn-key example of what is recognised by Austin Healey collectors and aficionados around the world the best driving 3000. Prior to restoration the car had been in single family ownership from 1960-2012.
This car is supplied serviced with MOT and heritage certificate of authenticity.
