Built on 8th May 1956, this late model Austin Healey 100 is an original 4-speed car with overdrive, a laminated windscreen, heater and MPH speedo. The engine number matches original build records, and all cockpit trims are matching numbers.
Specialist restored with restoration commencing in 2018 and finishing in 2020 this M spec Healey has had a comprehensive body-off restoration from bare metal with all subcomponents repaired or replaced, the car fully rewired and plumbed, engine rebuilt, new upholstery, full staged repaint and cavity protection. The car has zero miles since rebuild and is a rare opportunity to purchase an as new rebuild.
During restoration 255 XVP was upgraded to full Le Mans specification including louvred bonnet plus Le Mans regulation strap, camshaft, larger carburettors plus the iconic cold air box and ram air pipe. These modifications give a very noticeable dollop of performance and an excellent swell of torque in all gears, plus an excellent sporting aesthetic.
Currently LHD but we can convert to RHD home market spec in just one week.
