SOLD | 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 Phase II| Original UK RHD Restored by Rawles Motorsport
DETAILS
Available for full restoration by Rawles Motorsport this Austin Healey 3000 MkIII was built on 22-26th May 1964 as a RHD, home market specification car sold through Stewart and Ardern Limited of London. The car is highly original today retaining its original engine, original body panels and registration mark.
This Healey was highly specified from the factory with optional leather seats, upgraded tyres, laminated windscreen, wire wheels, heater, overdrive, adjustable steering column and tonneau.
As a BJ8 Phase Two model this represents the most desirable 3000, with a 3-litre straight six developing 150HP at 5,200rpm, a top speed of 125mph and achieving 0-60 in 9.8 seconds. These variants also gave great refinement over earlier cars with wind-up windows, easy-up ‘pram-style’ hood and superior ride and handling quality owing to revised spring and damping rates.
Available fully restored by Rawles Motorsport to your exacting specification, original or upgraded, in its original colours or a colour combination of your choice.
