Built on 2nd October 1962, this 3000 MkIIA is one of 455 right hand drive BJ7 models, originally dispatched to Patrick Motors Limited of Birmingham. This Healey is one of just 126 RHD 1962-year model cars and was delivered with addition extras of wire wheels, a heater and brake servo.
Finished in its original colours of Colorado Red with a Red interior with White piped Red leather seats and Red carpet, plus Black Everflex and hood bag. This Healey retains its original numbers engine and 4-speed gearbox.
The car has been in single ownership since the mid 1970s and clearly cherished having been restored twice in this ownership with paperwork indicating this first in 1979 and once again in around 1996. It is clear the car has never fallen into significant disrepair and as such remains thoroughly excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically displaying very good panel fitment, a nice deep paint finish and smart interior.
This Healey, 923 XVH is fitted with nice extras giving it a wonderful aesthetic including twin spot lamps, wider 185-section tyres plus body colour protective wheel arch liners.
