SOLD | Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 Phase II | UK RHD
DETAILS
1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 Phase II built on the 25-28 February 1966 and delivered to Premier Motor Company of Birmingham, United Kingdom. This original RHD car is well presented in British Racing Green with Black seating and has covered just 59,000 miles from new.
The car was restored in 1994 by Smith & Cave of Dorset, with the body totally refurbished from bare metal and with the engine rebuilt. This late car still remains clean and nicely presented with a very sound structure. Upgrades to the car include aluminium boot plus front and rear wings, a Denis Welch manifold and stainless wire wheels.
Inside the seats are in very good condition with the leather still supple and un-faded. The black carpeting is clean, not worn and the wood dash plus instrumentation are all in very good order.
Performance from the engine is strong, with good oil pressure and temperature readings. We have just fully serviced the car.
The car retains very good paperwork including a copy of the original logbook, British Motor Heritage Trust certificate, MOTs dating back to 1978 and paper documentation of restoration parts and work.
