For sale a menacing looking example of the original right hand drive Austin Healey 3000 MkIII, fully upgraded and modernised for touring. Fully restored by a marque specialist the car is in very good cosmetic condition and excellent mechanical condition with a newly refurbished Rawles Motorsport fast road engine.

Finished in a wonderful deep shade of Aston Martin metallic Green with Chrome wire wheels, a works style louvred bonnet, this Healey features a Black interior with Green contrast piping, colour matched period Cibie spotlamps. Wet weather gear is all matched Black everflex as per factory.

MPE 194D has been upgraded by Rawles Motorsport ready for Alpine driving with the car regularly making trips to Europe. These upgrades include in 2024 and with under 1,000 miles since a new Rawles Motorsport fast road engine featuring: triple 2”SUs, aluminium fast road head ported and polished, uprated pistons, fast road camshaft, 123” mappable distributor, 6 branch exhaust manifold, performance inlet manifold, side exit exhaust, baffled aluminium sump, lightened flywheel, high output oil pump plus a high torque starter motor.

In 2020 we also fitted our Bilstein suspension upgrade, a modern, fully synchromeshed 5-speed gearbox and 4-piston front brakes. 7,000 miles have been covered with these with greatly increased braking performance, superior ride quality and a much easier, more enjoyable gear change as well as better performance and cruise capability. In the same year we also rebuilt the steering box with a universal joint for additional safety.

MPE was nut and bolt restored in 2004 by a marque specialist with the interior further re-trimmed in 2014. Rawles Motorsport has serviced the car for the last 10 years having looked after the car for two owners and supplying to the current. The car has excellent service history, has benefitted from some cosmetic work in the last few years to improve it and is now supplied ready for the new owner to enjoy.
