1965 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII Phase II | Extremely Sorted, Upgraded Car

DETAILS

For sale a stunning quality late Healey in excellent condition featuring the very best of Rawles Motorsports offerings for upgrades and refinements.  This is a incredibly sorted with perfect mechanicals owing to a fully rebuilt (original) engine and gearbox by Rawles Motorsport with just 1,750 miles since.

Built 23-29th December 1965 TEU 70C is an original Healey Blue late 3000 MkIII Phase II in final production specification. The Healey Blue metallic paint is absolutely stunning owing to a full bare metal front end respray completed June 2025, with zero miles since.

Inside the car is just as pleasing with Navy seating with chrome piping, bespoke Rawles Motorsport wool carpet with bound edging, additional heat and sound insulation and a Moto-Lita slotted steering wheel. Wet weather gear is again bespoke Rawles Motorsport tailored with a fully tailored Navy mohair roof improving weather sealing around the windows greatly. A matching bespoke tonneau again made by Rawles Motorsport is provided for top-down sunny days.

TEU 70C is as you would expect on the button. The car has been religiously serviced and the new engine starts on the first turn of the key every time. The engine is subtly upgraded but primarily with the goal of additional smoothness – it has been fully balanced with weight matched pistons but also features some additions for reliability. The 5-speed gearbox is fully synchro meshed unlike the original gearbox, produces much less cockpit noise and heat, transmits more power to the wheels than the original and is much more user friendly making for much quicker gear changes. Bilstein telescopic dampers enhance ride comfort and road holding, whilst 4-piston front brakes provide modern safety.

All around this is a much recommended Healey which has been lavished with a great deal of affection by its current owner.
