DETAILS
For sale a 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII project car in need of full restoration. As chassis no 36764 this is a very late production specification BJ8 Phase II car with separate indicators, the raised chassis, ‘De-Luxe interior’ and 150BHP twin carburettor engine.
The car was sold new to the USA but would be a suitable candidate to restore and convert RHD should you wish (which can be done so very easily). This Healey was originally specified with wire wheels, adjustable steering, overdrive, a heater and tonneau.
The car is provided with engine, gearbox, rear axle, good front and rear shrouds but will need significant rust repair to the structure and panels. The dash and instrumentation is provided as is the hood frame and many other good parts.
Attractively priced this is a low cost entry point to Healey restoration.
Sold either on a outright basis or to be restored by Rawles Motorsport to your specification of colours, mechanicals, original specification or upgraded. Call or email to request a restoration brochure or for further details on the car and process.
