DETAILS
For sale a rare opportunity to purchase a newly restored, original Healey Gold (one of just 552) Austin Healey 3000 MkIII. We have just completed the cars first service and completed the owners snag list meaning the car is ready to go. Built on 3-17th May 1967 this is a very late production phase II car, well optioned with overdrive (now upgraded to a 28% ratio for better cruising), adjustable column and a heater.
Restoration of this gorgeous brute was comprehensive finalising in 2023. The body was fully taken back to bare metal with repairs made, all subcomponents repainted including suspension, axle etc. The car was fully rewired and replumbed with all new lines. The engine and gearbox was rebuilt and the car has covered approximately 500 miles since, the owner driving it back from the upholsterer in Germany in one easy hit.
Inside the interior was fully hand trimmed by a German leather specialist. The seats, dash and console are all trimmed in full leather. The roof is hand fitted Red mohair and a bespoke tonneau is made to match. Carpets are tailored Red items with Red edge binding.
Sold serviced with MOT, BHMT Certificate of Authenticity, tonneau, jack, hammer and service invoice.
